Wow, what a good breath of fresh wind for the year. (pun intended) I had not heard symphony no. 2 , or second dawning. I must also comment on the quality of your recordings. I use dolby PLIIX MS to process into a surround system. It takes me back to my childhood. Watergate was a concert barge on the river, at the foot of the Lincoln Memorial. We heard these bands Sunday evenings in the summer.

The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) performed concerts on the Watergate Concert Barge moored in the Potomac at the base of the Watergate steps near the Lincoln Memorial from 1935 to 1965. The barge was also used for concerts by the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Army Air Forces bands along with performers as diverse as Frank Sinatra, Ellington, and Paul Robeson. Noise from planes landing at nearby National Airport proved t00 disruptive.
