Shadows are a common theme amongst poets, authors, artists, and composers, and with its symbolism to the hidden, foreboding, and mystical, we can see why. 

When from these scenes we wander,
And twilight shadows fade,
Our mem'ry still will linger,
Where light and shadows played...
