In America, if Memorial Day signals the unofficial beginning of summer, then Labor Day signals its unofficial end. The two holidays are like bookends.  And while it may be too soon to think about cooler weather or the string of fall events that lie ahead, it is time to enjoy some great music that marks this time of year.
